My name is Göran Sandahl - A security consultant at Integralis, freelance writer and security enthusiast. My current location is Stockholm, Sweden, where I live with my girlfriend since soon 8 years. My main focus with regards to security are aspects of detection, prevention and recovery from computer and network security attacks - which essentially means I’m working with technologies like IDS, IPS, SIEM and their related routines and processes. I’m passionate in thinking of security, how we value, measure and implement defenses that matters. I try to see the big picture.

Why this site?

Simply because I tend to forget stuff. This site allows me to manage my security-related thoughts and ideas. It’s a bonus if others finds the content interesting.
